June Favourites

The summer holidays have FINALLY rolled around and that only means one thing in my eyes... America! I am so so so excited to leave for the Big Apple on Thursday morning. I stay at one of the hotels near Glasgow Airport tomorrow night because we have a really early flight on Thursday and then I will arrive in New York around midday hopefully, if everything goes to plan. 3 nights are then spent in New York before I head down to my sister's house in Pennsylvania to spend the rest of my fortnight's holiday. I can't wait to get away from this god awful Scottish weather - it is currently 10 degrees celsius, torrential rain and I have the heating on in my house. Bring on the sunshine!

As per tradition when the month draws to a close, I bring you my monthly beauty favourites. Surprisingly, I hardly have anything to show you this month that I have been loving. I have mainly just been using things which I have had for a while and have probably talked about a million times before. I haven't mentioned these four things before but there is no doubt they will now frequently crop up on my blog from time to time.

Bioderma Sensibio H2O
It took so long to do it but I finally succumbed to the blogger pressure and bought Bioderma. There is so many names and fancy words on the front of this bottle, I have no clue what the proper name actually is. I know for a fact that I don't need to go into too much detail about this because there isn't a single blogger in the world who hasn't read at least one post on this yet. It truly lived up to expectations and is a dream to use to remove my makeup on a daily basis.

Dermablend concealer
With the acne on my face worsening on a weekly basis, I figured it was time to finally splash out on an expensive concealer which would properly cover it and give me more confidence. This is expensive for what is basically just a stick concealer, but it is incredibly. I am not a fan of stick concealers usually as I find that they don't give the best coverage, at least not as good as a liquid one, but this is the best concealer I have ever used. It is even better than my Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection concealer. Woah.

Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Frizz Remedy Deep Treatment conditioner sachet
Even though I have used up just two of these delightful little sachets, I know that I just have to go and buy the full sized bottle. Damn my hair just felt so soft. I couldn't stop running my hands through it. Oh and the smell. Devine.

Nivea Daily Essentials Express Hydration Primer
Whilst I don't have dry skin, I still bought the version for that skin type. Don't ask me why because I don't know. Luckily for me, it all turned out okay because this seems to be perfection for my skin. It hydrates and moistures but doesn't leave a greasy film on my skin or cause me to go overly shiny throughout the day. It creates a lovely smooth base for my foundation and sinks in instantly so I don't need to sit and wait before I apply. Not only does it do all that, but it also helps my makeup stay on for the whole day. Talk about an all rounder!

This will be my last post before I go on holiday but don't get your knickers in a twist because after I finish writing this, I am off to write some more posts for you to enjoy while I am away. I have never been able to master the art of scheduling posts so hopefully all goes well this time!
