Collection Work The Colour Lip Butter in Perfect Plum

There is only one way to start this and it is to say thanks to Natalie from youralmostalice for sending me this after I won it in one of her summer giveaways. It's not often I win giveaways so when I do, it makes it extra special. I liked this one because it was just something small and wasn't too extravagant, but was still really nice to receive. It arrived earlier this week and I have been in love with it since.

Perfect Plum is the most gorgeous colour and is perfect for the transition into autumn. It is very pigmented, so much so that you can just dot the tiniest amount onto your lips and blend it out and still manage to get a decent colour pay off. The swatch above is just one quick swipe, that's how bright it is! (P.S. Excuse the chipped nails. Also, doesn't my hand look blue?) I don't tend to go very heavy with lipsticks on an everyday basis so I think I'll be finding myself using this as a stain most days but I went to a party on last night and wore it to its full potential. The compliments were flooding in! It has such a lovely, smooth formula as well and it just glides onto your lips. I like how balmy and soft it feels, rather than thick and heavy. The Revlon Lip Butters are nice but this is on another level. For such a cheap product, you get more than what you pay for (which is nothing in my case, even better) so I'm excited to go out and buy the other colours.

On a side note, what do you think of my background for these photos? I was in Paperchase in Glasgow and saw all the pretty paper they had and I thought about getting some for using on my blog but I wasn't sure. Then I saw that there was some from Nepal and I couldn't resist. It took me forever to choose what one I wanted and I ended up with two different patterns. You can see the other one here in my August Favourites post.

Thanks again Natalie!
