Hey! I'm Holly, a seventeen year old beauty enthusiast with A LOT of hair and a major appreciation for all teen romance novels to make up for my lack of love life. In September 2015, I will be fleeing the nest to study journalism at university so this blog right here is a little bit of practise for when that time comes.

In all the blog posts that try to guide you through writing the perfect About Me page, it is always mentioned that you should clearly state what you blog is about. To be honest, even I don't know what my blog is about. It is an outlet for my crazy inner thoughts and the excessive amount of money I spend on beauty products. Expect to find a surprise in each blog post, as I often start writing without really knowing where I am going with it. Often, the blog post turns out totally different to how I expected and I have to change the title because it no longer fits. In theory, this is a beauty blog with the occasional book review and ramble about my sucky life. Enjoy.

How did you get rid of your acne?
I was referred to a dermatologist by my GP as everything I had tried hadn't worked for me. I was then prescribed Roaccutane which worked absolute wonders for me and now I just get an odd spot here and there around that time of the month. Roaccutane has a lot of serious side effects, many of which can be quite common, but luckily the only one I got was very very dry flaky lips.

What camera do you use for your photos?
As of the 18th of May 2014, I use the Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ35 which you can read about here. Before then, I stuck to either my ipod or my phone, both of which have surprisingly ok cameras.

What do you use to edit your photos?
I tend to use Picmonkey for editing photos, especially if the lighting wasn't great when I took them, and Fotor for collages.
